Halex Tri-Tack Carpet Tack Strips were designed in the early 1990s to replace commercial carpet tack strip or double stripping with an economical and effective alternative to both. Its 1-1/4 inch wide carpet tack strips contains three pin rows for secure grip of carpet backings. Often referred to as “Commercial, Jr.,” Tri-Tack is available in Standard, and with Wood, Concrete, Heavy Duty Concrete, and Dual Purpose pre-nails. Tri-Tack’s effective hold has made it the fastest growing type of carpet tack strip on the market.
Easy to use
By eliminating the need for double stripping, Tri-Tack carpet tack strips save the installer both time and energy. The third row of pins makes for easier hooking of carpet. Pre-nails sit further from the wall.
Economical
Tri-Tack is an economical alternative to double stripping as well as to paying for full width commercial or architectural strip. Each carton contains 280 feet, which is 40% more than a 200 foot carton of commercial carpet tack strips.

1-1/4” wide with 3 full rows of pins, Tri-Tack was designed to be used on commercial as well as on the most difficult residential jobs. It will grip the toughest berber and action back carpets with ease and strength.
